Chapter 4- 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Conquest, War, Famine and Death
"Climate Change is the fundamental threat to humankind.
If we fail to act, climate change will intensify droughts, floods and other natural disasters.
Water shortages will affect hundreds of of millions of people. Malnutrition will engulf many parts of the developing
world. Tensions will worsen. Social unrest, even violence, could follow. The damage to national economies
will be enormous. The human suffering will be incalculable"
-Ban Ki-Moon, UN Secretary General
The conquest of nations by the rich and powerful will continue and increase, bringing more war, famine and death to a large majority of the nations and peoples of the world in the years to come. Global climate change will exacerbate the rush and acquisition for increasingly scarce planetary resources; particularly access to freshwater, arable land, energy and food. The global poor, already suffering from purposeful eugenics/depopulation and chronic underdevelopment policies, will continue to bear the brunt of the massive levels of famine, hunger, starvation, disease and death already encompassing a large percentage of the world's population. Coupled with increases in natural disasters arising from a warming world, the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse will wreak havoc upon a planet already experiencing the greatest holocaust of life the world has ever known.
